Alchemy Interactive Art Event

We've harnessed the How To Behave video talent into a new twist, to create a completely new video art installation for Alchemy on March 24 in San Francisco.

It's called Video Mad Libs and here's how it works:

We'll have a stage, costumes, props, and a green screen. You pick your scene, which describes the actors required and general costuming. There are no lines (it is video *mad libs* after all). Instead, the scene cards have a general outline of the scene you're going to perform. For example, it could be from Ferris Bueller's Day Off when Ferris is faking sick for his parents so he can play hookie.

So, you act out the scene, and the special editing software we've designed for Alchemy will stitch in the appropriate background (ferris's bedroom) and splice you into the movie.

After the director calls "That's a wrap" you head over to the screening area where you can watch your scene as it appears in a shortened version of the movie (about 5 minutes).

We'll have lots of movies you can pick from, though you won't know which one you're in until you see the final cut!

There's lots more happening at Alchemy, including a fashion show, clothing construction, drawing and painting, here's the full description - - -

Breaking News: False Profit pioneers release Underground 2.0: now Above
Ground.

Alchemy is the first Underground 2.0 offering from False Profit. This
legal and permitted event, to be held in an art gallery, will feature all
manner of creative activities. Where past events have relied on careful
design by an executive team to blow apart your senses, Alchemy features
the same careful design but relies on you, the participant, to take things
a step further once you arrive. You are invited to dress creatively,
express indulgently, and create your own interactive games for the
evening.
